Post by Admin »

Princeton BC Mayor Spencer Coyne had emotion in his voice Monday morning when he described the flooding catastrophe in his town.

"I've been here all my life. We've never had a flood like this yet. I talked to a gentleman today, been here 65 years, he said he's never seen one like this," Coyne said.

The floods follow record heatwaves last year that saw BC records broken by several degrees Celsisus. The towns Lytton burned to the ground and there were vast wildfires. Princeton itself set a new heat record of 42.7C, previously 38C set in 2015.
